20 Weeks! That's half way done. :) Or Kris says half way started. Either way, it's an exciting milestone for me. The baby is kicking in there often during the day, and it's such a comfort... What an amazing experience. Kris also got to feel the baby move yesterday on our 20 week mark - we were laying in bed and when the baby started kicking, I put his hand on my belly and felt a couple of big kicks! I love that I can share that with him. It's unreal to think that we will have a little baby to share a family bond with, who will look up to us as loving parents, guides, and protectors.
How far along? 20 weeks!
Total weight gain/loss: Prolly about 11-12 lbs by now.
Maternity clothes?
Went shopping at Motherhood Maternity for the first time yesterday. Clothes were kinda expensive, actually... I'm not sure I'll be doing a lot of shopping there. However, they had these long tanktops that were $7.50, so I got four of them. Very comfortable, and they're very long and stretchy. Also bought a couple of really cute, comfortable, soft long dresses that are perfect maternity wear. I'll be wearing a lot of dresses during the summer!
Stretch marks? None that's new.
Sleep: I've been sleeping very well lately! It's been surprising... and refreshing.
Best moment this week: Sharing the baby's movement with Kris. AH-MAZING.
Movement:
The baby's definitely getting stronger! I feel her everyday, and a lot. It's so good.
Food cravings: Just good fruit.
Gender: Doesn't matter at this point - we'll take what God gives us! :)
Labor Signs: None.
Belly Button in or out? In.
What I miss: At this point? Not much. :) Pregnancy's been good for the past week since I've been able to rest from the trips to Texas. I'm so content to feel the baby move, and I feel generally great.
What I am looking forward to:
Getting the nursery done.
Weekly Wisdom: Resting makes you feel better! Putting my hair down and just doing nothing all weekend has been SO good for me.
Milestones: Daddy felt the baby kick! :D And we're halfway done waiting for the baby to come.
